Li Xiaolin
Chairman and Executive Director
China Power Intl. Development
Country: China
2007 rank: 49

In January, Li was promoted to chairman of China Power International Development--she had been vice chairman--raising her already high profile in China. (She is the only daughter of former Chinese Premier Li Peng.) Power is big business in China, thanks to a still-booming economy, yet revenue at Li's company last year rose a relatively modest 14%, to about $786 million.
