The nation's fourth-largest wireless carrier (behind Sprint/Nextel, Verizon, and AT&T), T-Mobile makes its first appearance on the Best Companies list this year. The company added more than 2,000 people to its payrolls in 2008.

Customer service reps earn $28,549 a year on average, plus an $8,800 bonus. Managers make six figures. At its 24 call centers, T-Mobile provides such amenities as fitness centers, cyber cafes, TV rooms, game rooms, Zen rooms, basketball courts, golf-putting greens, hiking trails and movie theaters.
