'Gas-powered alarm clock'
'Gas-powered alarm clock'
Fake Company: Spartan Digital Electronics
Submitted to: EPA

The blurb on Spartan's website described the clock as a sleek, durable device, roughly "the size of a small portable generator." To the right is our interpretation of what it must have looked like.

The gasoline power didn't seem to raise a red flag however, because the GAO says the EPA green-lighted the clock without questioning the product description further.
