First the two Scandinavians helped turned the music industry on its head by creating the file-sharing site, Kazaa. When that ended in a legal tangle, they launched the
Internet-based calling company Skype. Now they are hard at work transforming yet another industry: television. Joost is an attempt to do for video what Kazaa did for music,
except that this time Friis and Zennström are offering free on-demand programming via the Internet that is perfectly legal.
